PLEASE READ !
Most pre-strung bead fringe is only tied off at the beginning and ending strands of a bolt. When cutting the header strip anywhere beyond the first strand, it is very important to make sure the beginning bead strand is securely fastened onto the header tape before you attempt to apply the fringe to your project. If you don't follow these instructions, you might end up with a big disappointment. We cannot refund for any such event!
If left unsecured, the beads will eventually slip off and the whole fringe can fall apart. To be sure you don't run into this "catastrophe", cut off the bottom bead of the first strand. Gently pull off all the beads from that strand, leaving the string or threads attached. This is usually a double thread. Simply tie a couple of knots close to the header to make the strand secure. A crochet hook can be used if there is only one string, by weaving the thread securely in and out of the header.
When applying a patterned or uneven-length bead fringe to your project, if your bead fringe is not one continuous piece, you must match the pattern in the next section of fringe so it joins in without interrupting the flow of the pattern. These "interruptions" can be quite noticeable on your finished project, so watch this carefully. Please take this into consideration when determining the length of bead fringe you need.
